Raw Wildlife is a boutique tour company inspired by our passion and dedication for conservation. We specialise in providing our clients with an intimate experience in regions of great conservation significance, ensuring a truly unique and raw wildlife adventure. As experienced zookeepers and conservationists, we have developed Raw Wildlife Encounters to provide you with an exclusive and personalized insight into the rare animals, indigenous people and environmental issues that threaten the greater Sumatran region. We aim to provide an adventure of great personal fulfilment that will capture life-long memories and friendships.

Raw Wildlife supports the community of Tangkahan, based in North Sumatra, with their pioneering and inspirational vision: 'To protect the endangered Sumatran forests and its inhabitants so future generations can live together with Mother Nature, work alongside their natural resources and promote sustainable outcomes, so other communities can also follow from our example' 

 

Raw Wildlife has developed an incredibly strong relationship with the local community of Tangkahan. We have helped establish a working platform for ecotourism and continue to provide valuable resources to the project. Our grass-roots involvement has enabled us to develop a co-operative partnership with the world's oldest international conservation organisation, Fauna and Flora International (FFI) in particular with their Sumatran Elephant Conservation Project and Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Project (SOCP).
